The LIFE PRIORAT + MONTSANT project "Efficiency in the use of resources to improve the sustainability of the wine sector
of the Priorat region" is co-funded by the European Union, through the LIFE program, aimed at supporting demonstration projects That contribute to the sustainable
development and the fulfillment of the environmental policies of the EU and the Member States.
This initiative is driven by a consortium of five entities, led by VITEC (Technological Wine Center) which, along with the Denomination of Origin Montsant, the Qualified
Denomination of Origin Priorat, the company of services for sustainability Lavola 1981 And the Technological Platform of Wine, will work for the next 4 years to develop and
demonstrate a model of sustainable wine production in the Priorat region, through the sustainable use of resources, which is subsequently reproducible in other wine, Spanish and European
regions.
